Failures are the stepping stones to success. Someone has rightly said this and it is strange that today this is the key for the existence of many people who have seen the worst yet have bloomed into successful individuals. Take the case of Bhavna for example. Very able and loving and extreme Ely responsible she was just among those people who ran a family with two children.
Everything was going well, when in the quest to have a son, she had yet a second child. She was very happy to see that the child she gave birth to was another beautiful curly haird girl. Everything seemed to work for her and she didn’t mind the fact that the second too was a child. For Bhavna, the fact that the child was healthy is what mattered.
Things took an ugly turn for Bhavna when her husband started having qualms about a second girl child. It didn’t matter to Bhavna, but when she saw that as the child grew, the animosity increases she couldn’t really accept it. Yet she felt, that he was the father and he would surely love the child some day. But when in the pretext of having a second girl child, he began to stop sending his other two children to school, then was the time Bhavna realized things have gone out of hand. What seemed to be a perfectly happy and secure life suddenly turned into turmoil for Bhavna. She approached Project colors and our volunteers went to her and studied her problem in detail. When they came to know that Bhavna's husband had stopped sending his other two daughters to school because the second too was a girl, the volunteers were left stunned.
Project colors undertook the humble responsibility of putting the child back in school, ensuring she had all the related conveniences and today Ridhi, Bhavna's daughter is a happychild and has all her sisters going to school.
On the other hand, Bhavna took regained all her lost confidence and never once doubted the capacity of the power of thought. Project colors' volunteer also made Bhavana realize the true menacing of a strong world. Thus the VOLUNTEERs also followed the simple policy of upliftment of the underprivileged and the oppressed.
Thus these two cases clearly show how Project colors has been responsible for a change of life for people who really need it. the organization employed the principle of women empowerment by way of giving Bhavna what she wished for. She dint have to worry about her family or about her husband's hurt ego. Project colors just made sure Bhavna and her children are not deprived of the basic needs of life.
By giving Ridhi what she deserved the organization just demonstrated that unity is power and thus they practised the simple policy that Project colors observes. - Child development. Today Ridhi is a happy child and quietly thanks those who have made her what she is today.
In this world there are many Ridhis and Bhavnas, and Project colors just takes the mantle of reducing this inequality in the male female ration everywhere.
What goes around comes around. This is true in so many cases. In fact, it has been seen that there have been so many cases where this adage has really come true Take for example the case of Sakshi. All of six years of age, she lost her parents at a very young age. They were workers in a building construction and lost their lives when the roof of the building they were working on collapsed. Sakshi became an orphan at the age of two years. She was eager to move on in life and was a child filled with vibrant enthusiasm and energetic vigour. But fate had something else in store.
Time passed and Sakshi was taken care of by the other people in the construction site. She had no family as her parents were working away from her village and no one knew about this mishap. Her parents did not have any address or identity to take back so no one knew who to inform. Sakshi slowly grew into a quiet, docile and lost all her energy suddenly. All this due to the simple quirk of fate and the dance of destiny. But there was a spark in her attitude and a determination that never ceased to show.
This is when project colors stepped into Sakshi's life. They happened to be there on the construction site on their regular interactive sessions and one member of project colors happened to notice Sakshi. There was a streak about her that was certainly attractive and soon Sakshi became a part of this social NGO with the aim of developing young minds. Sakshi today is six years and a protégé of project colors and has all the potential to rock the world one day with her leadership qualities. This is what Project Colors aims to achieve in the lives of all those hapless ones who have not had the capacity to do much due to the turn of fate.
There are so many people like Sakshi in this world and the main aim of Project Colors is to be able to reach out to them either through its workshops or through its selfless volunteers who make it a better world and a wonderful experience for these helpless young ones who are either separated by birth or are separated due to destiny from their families.
